>MCDH annual picnic a success

On Saturday, July 31, MCDH held its annual picnic for employees and their families.   The theme this year was “An Old Fashion Country Fair” and was complete with potato sack races, a very competitive horseshoe tournament, bingo games, a watermelon eating contest, a petting zoo and face painting. And, of course, no Country Fair would be complete without everyone bringing potluck dishes and watermelon to accompany the grilled burgers, hot dogs and corn on the cob.

About 140 employees, medical staff and family members attended the event.   All of this was successfully put together by the picnic planning committee: Deb Silva, Jennifer Mroz, Jerry Wood, Michael Coleman, Kurt Gore, Pat Van Meter, Becca Killion, Emmet O'Connell and Linda Royat.
