ACR Accreditation Recognized As Industry Gold Standard

FORT BRAGG, Calif. — March 13, 2012 — The Diagnostic Imaging Center at Mendocino Coast District Hospital was recently notified that its CT scanner service has received American College of Radiology (ACR) Accreditation for the next three years.

“This accreditation adds to the ACR accreditation previously received by the Department for MRI and Mammography,” said MCDH CEO Raymond Hino. “We are extremely proud of our Diagnostic Imaging team for their expertise, professionalism, and for the caring way they deliver these services to our patients.”

Hino noted that the ACR is the most widely recognized medical imaging accrediting body. “Its accreditation programs are recognized by patients and payers as the industry gold standard, and are a sign of an extraordinary commitment to quality care,” he said.
