Noe Hinojosa, 61, a health care manager with more than 40 years experience, has been appointed permanent manager of the Mendocino Coast District Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Center.
Hinojosa, who recently worked at the 45-bed rural access Biggs-Gridley Hospital, has extensive experience in the development of cutting-edge imaging technology. He worked for two years at Stanford Medical Center in research and development where he also was co-author of two research papers.
He was hired by Toshiba, a global manufacturer of diagnostic imaging equipment, to create and implement protocols for high tech CAT Scanners used for cardiac and neurological research in the Canadian Health Care System.
“I will be bringing all my experience in the U.S., Canada, Japan and China (where he worked as a healthcare consultant) to create the best possible patient-centric environment at Mendocino Coast Hospital,” said Hinojosa.
Hinojosa (pronounced e-no hosa) said he already has begun the process of getting acquainted with staff and soon expects to meet with physicians and their office staffs to learn about their needs and the needs of their patients.
“There is nothing more important than our patients,” he said. “We want to do everything we can to help their physicians deliver high quality medicine, while providing them with a safe and comfortable environment.”
