Patricia Corona, R.N.I am pleased to announce that I have appointed Ms. Patricia Corona to serve as Interim Chief Nursing Officer for Mendocino Coast District Hospital. She replaces Bonnie Kintner, R.N., who resigned, effective September 1, to pursue a doctorate in health administration.

During this critical time for MCDH, we could not afford to have a vacancy in this key position.

Patricia is an experienced Chief Nursing Officer, having served in a number of hospitals both in a permanent CNO role and as an Interim CNO, most recently at Lodi Memorial Hospital. Her original training was as an Oncology Nurse.

She is very aware of the challenges that we are currently facing and has been in this type of situation before. She is up to the task.

I am very pleased that we have been able to find a professional of Patricia’s qualifications and capabilities to immediately step in.

Please join me in welcoming Patricia Corona.
